Christmas Countdowns!

We have a number of products that can be used for counting down to Christmas – from a variety of styles of Advent Calendars and Magnetic Countdown Sets to the Candy Cane Holder, there’s something that will appeal to everyone!

Magnetic Countdown Sets!

Our Magnetic Countdown Sets utilise our brilliant new 0.7 mm Steel! Each of the sets comes with an A4 Ricoh Steel Sheet (with the option for square or rounded corners) and a choice between a handful of small shapes, such as: a Gonk, Fox, Frog, Penguin, and more! Included is also a magnet strip which will be cut to the size of the shape you have chosen to ensure it fits well.

In one of the examples pictured we went with the idea of a winter themed board game in which the Santa Gonk is moved along one space each day – right up to Christmas Day – passing penguins up to all sorts of winter activities as they count down the days. The signpost in the design provides a space for a name – adding that extra touch of personalisation to the product!

There are so many other ideas to be explored for a Christmas Countdown with this set. The shape could be climbing up a tree – or a set of stairs – to eventually get to the spot at the top by Christmas Day. It could even be printed up as a December Calendar (without the days/numbers labelled so it can be filled in with a dry wipe pen and reused each year!) and the shape can again be moved along as the days pass.

Double Sided and Outdoor Decorations!

Some of our most popular Christmas shapes have now been added in our new 0.5 mm Double Sided White and Bright Silver metal! This includes: the Best Selling Bauble, Gonk, Snowflakes, Bell, Snowman, Bird, Snow Globe, and two of our Heart Shapes – Puffy and Traditional.

They make wonderful decorations for the Christmas tree, and since both sides can be printed on they also make for brilliant festive gifts! You can offer to print a personalised message on the back from the giver of the gift, or you could use that space to display the logo of your business to show who it was made by.

The A3 and A4 Baubles are a great alternative to a wreath for a festive door decoration, especially now that is it also available in our Outdoor Metal! Print the bauble up with whatever design or photos you like and finish it off with lights or tinsel – you could even use the bauble as a wreath centrepiece and build up the rest of the wreath around it…

Advent Calendars!

Our Original ‘Split Pin’ Advent Calendar

This is created by printing the photos/designs of the 25 hidden items (that are revealed on each day) onto the base layer, then printing up the top layer with the holes in it separately. It is available in a classic A4 rectangular shape or fancy A3 Tree shape. Our free design for the A3 tree has the top layer with a simple but effective tree graphic printed onto it while the base layer has 25 cute Christmas themed drawings printed onto it. Each ‘bauble’ (circle, star, or snowflake) is printed with the numbers.

The Advent Calendar is then assembled (after pressing) with split pins through each bauble shape and the top tree layer, which is then adhered to the base layer with ultra strong double sided tape. Each bauble is then twisted round to reveal the hidden item each day!

Our New! Magnetic Steel Advent Calendar

For the Magnetic version of the Advent Calendar you will create the top layer and base as one piece on magnetic printable steel, available in a choice of Rectangle, Tree, Bauble, Door, Wreath, and House – all in A4 or A3. Our free design for the A3 tree now has the tree graphic with our hand drawn 25 cute Christmas themed icons incorporated – but of course you can personalise your design with your own photos or drawings!

Each ‘bauble’ or ‘door’ (shape, circle, or square) is printed with the numbers separately as before and you then attach a self adhesive magnetic strip or disc to each, to enable you to cover each of the printed pictures – ready for the countdown reveal!

Candy Cane Holder!

Our Candy Cane Holder can be used both as a Christmas Treat/Reward Board and an Advent Calendar! There are 24 holes provided (all 10 mm) and, despite the name, you don’t have to only use candy canes with this product! You could attach other sweet treats using string or pegs…

You could even create a Pet Advent Calendar using this product! Attach pet treats to each hole, so that your furry friend can get excited for the countdown to Christmas too!

Hook and Loop Advent Countdown!

The Hook and Loop Advent Countdowns are just as simple to put together, but are no less fun! Choose between the House or Tree (in A3 or A4 sizes) or our A3 or A4 Ricoh as your base. Then select either 24 x Squares or Circles. Each set comes with a length of hook and loop pads to cut to size! (We also offer a wreath with shape sets to decorate it!)

We have used the A3 Ricoh to create a doll house scene (pictured in the examples along the side), complete with 24 squares printed up with a different Christmas themed item. The idea is that as you count down to Christmas, a new item gets added to the house each day, so you will eventually end up with a fully decked out house by the 25th!

There are so many good ideas for this calendar: use the tree to create a fun countdown decorating activity, or use family photos to create a special personalised countdown in which another family member is added to the board each day!
