JUNE UPDATE 2024

We are still busy behind the scenes updating our products with all the new speciality metal that has arrived – starting with a promotion on the fabulous ‘already better value’ magnetic Steel sheets, then we will extend our outdoor & double sided ranges plus we have the last of our new rose gold finishes to add too!

With the free gift at the moment being a sample of our brilliant new ‘much better value’ steel, we’re taking time to explore a range of ideas that it can be used for. From fun game boards to more practical tracker or planner boards – there will be something for every customer – but of course, as with everything we sell, we also sell it on its own, in various sizes, for you to customise exactly as you need!

We’re recapping all the fun ways that you can use our products to market into the world of sport since the Euros are happening this month, and the Olympics and Paralympics are following shortly after!

We also have some brand new shapes for you to check out, including: books, prom figures, and a super cute poodle!

Sports and Awards!

With the Olympic and Paralympic Games just around the corner in July and August respectively, this is a great time to market into the world of sports!

Summer is also the time for School and Charity Sports Days. We have a trophy shape, rosette shape, some freestanding trophies, and medals with inserts that would all make some cool prizes for any of the events. And if you or your customers are involved in running summer shows (think Dog Shows, Horse Events, or any other event where unique and personalised prizes are needed!) we’ve extended our Trophy range again – our Sitting Dog shape is another new addition in both A6 and A5 sizes!

For anyone involved in competing, our medal hanger makes a great personalised way of displaying hard won medals! The Medal Hangers now come in two sizes with the option for either single arms or double arms.

Steel Boards!

We’re taking the opportunity to show off our new 0.7 mm steel in the larger A3+ sizes (a much cheaper alternative to Unisub Steel)! The Wall Chart and Game Board listing has a few different sets for you to choose from depending on what sort of product you want to create – there are so many possibilities when it comes to using our steel…

Since the Men’s football Euros are coming up this month and we have created another fun board for everyone to keep track of the games! This set is completed with 24 x 25 mm circles (one for each of the countries taking part) along with magnets to attach to them so they can be moved around the board.

Continuing along the lines of the sport ideas, our steel is perfect to be transformed into a tactics board! Simply print up an example of the area of play and then utilise magnetic counters and the dry wipe feature of our metal as an easy and reusable way of creating new game plans – a perfect product for any sports teams.

Three of our staff have teenagers who are doing there GCSE exams, so we created a practical revision schedule for them using our New! Supergiant Magnetic Wall Chart Sets (Revision and Homework Boards complete with a range of shapes (including our new book and notebook shapes) to be used as magnets to signify and plan out different activities! This idea can be expanded beyond just GCSEs too, with general study planners, monthly planners, homework boards, reward charts, and activity planners being a great organisation and study aid.

We can’t forget about board games either! Just like our Board Game Sets using our standard metal, you can also create the same thing using our steel – the only difference is that the counters can stick magnetically to the boards! Consider score boards as well, which are a fun way of keeping track of wins across a longer period of time – and across a selection of games!

Countdown Boards are also a brilliant idea to start thinking about. A countdown to Christmas would be the most obvious choice – printed up with Christmas and winter designs with a seasonal shape to move along as the days go by – but countdowns to birthdays, holidays, and even special milestones are a sweet idea for the whole family!

Prom and Graduation!

Prom items are an idea worth exploring this time of year, especially for lovely keepsake items! Our Multi Panel Sets are perfect to display treasured photos, making them a great choice for Prom keepsakes. Another simple but sweet idea would be to use our Jewellery Display Cards in order to give a gift for prom, such as a “Will you go to Prom with me?” gift.

The end of the current school year will also soon be coming to a close, so this is the perfect time to start thinking about gifts for graduation. Cash Cards are a simple but fun choice as a way of giving money as a congratulations gift for anyone on their graduation. On a more sentimental note, a photo (or collage of photos) from graduation can be printed up and put into a frame. This is especially lovely if you use either our brushed silver or satin silver matt finishes as they can really give a photograph a ‘wow’ factor!

The Prom Figure and Prom Dress shapes have now been finalised and launched on our website! These are perfect for any Prom keepsakes – such as a cute hanging decoration or keyring – and you can use the shapes individually or combine them to create cute couples or groups of prom-goers! If you’re a crafty person then you might like our idea of combining the dress over the top of the figure and bending it slightly in places to create a lovely 3D item…

New Shapes!

There has been a few additions to our range of shapes recently (with a few tying in with our exploration of ideas for the magnetic steel boards!). The Open Book, Standing Book, Spiral Notebook, and Folder Tab shapes were all created with a study/revision board in mind, but we also saw the potential for other ideas such as: memorial books, guest books and registries that can be signed as a keepsake, dry wipe reading lists, and book themed wall art.

We have resized our 0 – 9 number shapes, and now offer them in a Medium and a Small size alongside the existing XL A6 and XXL A5 sizes! These two new sizes are perfect for small sets of bunting, keyrings, and badges.

We launched the Sitting Dog in our last newsletter and now we have yet another dog to add to our growing collection: a Poodle! This was suggested by Kerrie in our external Design Team (who owns and shows some beautiful poodles herself!) and is available in 8 sizes, making it perfect for products aimed at dog owners and dog lovers, and are even great as cool plaques and prizes for Dog Shows…

Finally (and continuing the canine theme), we have a brand new Claire’s Cute Fox  shape – in 9 different sizes! This adorable fox shape was designed by our multi-talented workshop manager Claire (as an illustration in our staff bookmark competition – but we thought it would make a great addition to our range) It works for forest themed products such as: bookmarks, fridge magnets, decorations, dry wipes and jewellery, plus will join our Standing and Hanging Family collections at Christmas (as they will make perfect artic foxes too!) – more on that and other Christmas ideas and updates in our July Newsletter!
