MAY/JUNE NEWSLETTER 2024

We are busy updating our products with all the new speciality metal that has arrived – starting with a promotion on the fabulous value magnetic Steel sheets, then we will extend our outdoor & double sided ranges plus we have the last of our new rose gold finishes to add too!

We have a few sporty months ahead of us, with the Euros kicking off in June, and the Olympics following in July and August! So we’ve taken a look at some ways you can use our products to market into the world of sport…

We’re also exploring some fun ideas for school leaving gifts – from graduation mementos to teacher gifts, & prom keepsakes!

In our Project, we’re taking a look at some of the frequently asked questions from our customers, as well as a few hints & tips that we’ve compiled to hopefully help should you have any queries!

May/June Free Gift

May and June’s Free Gift is a sample of our ace 0.7 mm steel, a 25 mm alu disk and 20 mm magnet – for you to print up and test for your self – to see how great they all work together!

We’ve been busy creating sports and education themed magnetic/dry wipe boards to showcase these for you too  – see our fab Euros 2024 tracker – but get thinking and come up with unique magnetic gift ideas yourself (tactic boards anyone?)

Also shown is a GSCE revision schedule we made this week, as 3 of our staff have teenagers about to start their exams – so a really practical use for the steel sheets (we’re just working on creating sets of themed magnets for these and then we will launch them as Themed Magnetic/dry wipe signs and send you an update!) we designed various book shapes for these – and have launched the notebook already, with the open / prayer book and book cover to follow!

Seasonal/Marketing Ideas

With the Olympic and Paralympic Games just around the corner in July and August respectively, this is a great time to market into the world of sports!

Summer is also the time for School and Charity Sports Days. We have a trophy shape, rosette shape, some freestanding trophies, and medals with inserts that would all make some cool prizes for any of the events. And if you or your customers are involved in running summer shows (think Dog, Horse or any event where cool, personalisable prizes are needed!) we’ve extended our Trophy range again – our sitting Dog shape is another new addition!

For anyone involved in competing, our medal hanger makes a great personalised way of displaying hard won medals! The Medal Hangers now come in two sizes with the option for either single arms or double arms.

The Men’s football Euros are coming up again in June and we have once again created a fun board for the everyone to keep track of the games!

We’re taking the opportunity to show off our new 0.7 mm steel in the A3 size (a much cheaper alternative to Unisub Steel)! The set is completed with 24 x 25 mm circles (one for each of the countries taking part) along with magnets to attach to them so they can be moved around the board.

And as mentioned we have also been busy creating revision boards with the steel – with accompanying book and notebook shapes – update with more info to follow, but we think these will be really good sellers as perpetual homework or study planners…

The end of the current school year will also soon be coming to a close, so this is the perfect time to start thinking about congratulation gifts for graduation and thank you gifts for Teachers! Classroom signs or decorations are a fun gift idea that are also practical as they can be displayed all year round.

Cash Cards are a simple but fun choice as a way of giving money as a congratulations gift for anyone on their graduation. On a more sentimental note, a photo (or collage of photos) from graduation can be printed up and put into a frame. This is especially lovely if you use either our brushed silver or satin silver matt finishes as they can really give a photograph a wow factor!

Prom items are an idea worth exploring, especially for lovely keepsake items! Our Multi Panel Sets are perfect to display treasured photos, making them a great choice for Prom keepsakes. Another simple but sweet idea would be to use our Jewellery Display Cards in order to give a gift for prom, such as a “Will you go to Prom with me?” gift.

One Item, Three Ways!

We have used our A6 Freestanding Trophy Cup (in three different colours) to show off three ways in which it can be used as a prize and/or gift for a Sports Event or end of School occasions!

Sports Day – Summer is usually when all sorts of Sports Days and Events take place, and most of these events need prizes! We’ve designed a 1st Place Trophy, and it’s so easy to leave space for a name to be written in…

Graduation – Graduating is a pretty big deal and deserves to be celebrated! A lovely keepsake to commemorate all the hard work would no doubt be well received. The trophy makes a fun ‘well done for surviving’ prize!

Best Teacher – Saying goodbye to a valued teacher at the end of the year can be a sad occasion, but this ‘Best Teacher Ever’ trophy makes a thoughtful gift to show gratitude for all that they might have done!
