SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER NEWSLETTER 2024

We’re back and well rested from our Summer Break with a brand new design for our physical printed Newsletter! (One is included in every order so be sure to check it out if you place an order with us, do let us know what you think!) Thank you for your patience as we catch up with our inevitable backlog (remember to check the home page and/or the traffic light system at the top of any of our webpages to see our turnaround production status).

We were busy before our holiday, adding 0.5 mm Double Sided White and Bright Silver finishes to many of our popular Christmas Decorations, and we’ll be exploring ideas for these alongside reviewing our amazing range of unique and unusual Christmas Advent Calendars and Countdowns that can be personalised for every theme or family (and even the pets in your family!) in this issue’s project.

We’re also taking a look at some of our newest shapes alongside brilliant ideas for garden decorations and Halloween items using our new Outdoor Grade metal finishes…

For our Share To Win we have Katie Clark’s brilliant First Day at School Dry Wipe Board using our A4 size! All of our metal can be used for dry wipe and this is a great way to create an interactive activity for families.

Seasonal/Marketing Ideas

The Yorkshire Shape was launched on 1st August – Yorkshire Day! – and is a great addition to our growing landmarks collection. It is available in 6 sizes so you can create all kinds of souvenirs with it! (Fridge Magnets and Keyrings are classic choices). We chose the A5 size to create a fun map of Yorkshire – see if you can spot us! We included the exclusive free download of our hand drawn artwork of this map in our Sublimetals Customer Group last month, so if you haven’t yet joined our group, join now for this type of giveaway content – plus great hints and tips and customer interaction!

We have 2 new shapes that have just launched – the Arched Door and Sunset Sign! The Arched Door is brilliantly versatile – we have designed and printed up an example of a Tombstone for Halloween (and we’ll have a Christmas design coming soon too!), but this can also be used as a stained glass window, fairy door, or a New Home gift with the recipient’s own door printed onto the shape. The Sunset Sign is available in 8 sizes and is perfect for stable plaques, door plaques, and gate/fence signs. The circular section is perfect for any businesses that feature a circular styled logo too…

The Pumpkin and Ghost shapes have both been updated to now be available in more sizes! The Pumpkin is now available in a range of smaller sizes making it perfect for cute fridge magnets and keyrings – great gifts for lovers of Halloween and Autumn! The Ghost is now available in larger sizes that are great for wall art, signs, and Halloween themed dry wipe boards!

The new Outdoor Grade metal has been making its way onto a number of our products – especially ones ideal for garden decorations or memorial items such as: Garden Markers, Rail Signs, and Bar Signs. And speaking of garden markers, we have a brand new Bird Marker available in 3 sizes which is perfect for some lovely memorial plaques or cute decorative plant markers!

Our External Design Team have been coming up with some great ways of using the different products that the outdoor metal is now available in. They have created some wonderful memorial plaques using our Garden Markers, as well as some lovely decorations for the garden using the Fairies and Mushrooms. There’s even some ideas for outdoor Halloween decorations too! The Skull and Pumpkin would make some great wall art pieces and signs for the house…

Meet The Team!

Nicci is the Director, Owner, Boss, and Creator of Subli Metals. She created the business over 13 years ago and continues to push the business forward with new ideas and ventures. Nicci’s day-to-day role within the business is Head of Marketing and Product Development – she has tons of great ideas that keep the company moving!

Best Accomplishment: Winning EYRC Chairman’s Business Award.

Favourite Sport: Equestrian, NFL (supporting the Green Bay Packers), and Football (supporting Nottingham Forest).

Favourite Food: Tapas, Mexican Food, Seafood.

Favourite Activities: Horse Riding, Board Gaming, Lego, and Crafting.

Favourite Music: Soft Rock/Pop and Country – Bon Jovi, Elton John, Take That, and Shania Twain.

Carl is the Director of Subli Metals alongside Nicci. He is in charge of the parts that keep the business ticking: finance, health and safety, accounts, and HR – lots of paperwork is involved! As well as running the business alongside Nicci, Carl is also an author and has published a number of books in the Fantasy genre!
